Sir Muhammad Iqbal well known as Allama Iqbal. He is one of the greatest poet of the east. It was the historic day 9, November when Muhammad Iqbal was born in Sialkot. After the accomplishment of his primary education in his native city, an unquenchable thirst for learning brought him to Lahore There he came under the influence of Maulana Mir, Hassan.

From the very beginning, he was said to be a talented child. He got his higher education at Government College, Lahore. Then he went to Cambridge and later to Germany where he got his doctorate.
